Leapin' Lizards! Everyone's favorite red head is back in town. Center Stage Jackson presents the family musical ANNIE at Grass Lake High School Auditorium for two weekends beginning Friday, November 6th at 7:00 pm. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students with ID. Reservations can be made by calling 517-522-5695.

Murrows Boys at Jackson Coffee Company
Original, acoustic music from Michigan Socially aware lyrics complimented by spot-on harmonica leads put Murrow's Boys in a unique place among other acoustic groups. Members merge their personal styles and interests to create an honest acoustic sound. Music & words written & played by: James Murphy (gtr, bass, voc), Greg Marten (gtr, mandolin, voc, bass) and Ken Marten (harmonica, percussion)

Get your hands dirty when Jackson Community College welcomes the public to a ceramics studio open house, from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22 in Bert Walker Hall, Room 210, Jackson campus.
Current JCC pottery and ceramics students will present throwing demonstrations, and there will be discussions and exhibitions of works completed and in-progress. There will be make-and-take projects for young people, including handprints in clay.

Robin Lee Berry at Jackson Coffee Company
Robin Lee Berry, a native of Michigan, started a professional career in the folk clubs of East Lansing in the late 1970's.
A few years of touring with small children brought her home to northern Michigan to put some roots down and perform, write music and record creating three CD's.
After 20 years of performing in clubs and festivals Robin is currently recording in her own home studio and raising children while building exotic cedar furniture with her husband through their company www.logartinc.com.

Center Stage Jackson – Jackson’s community theatre group - is holding OPEN AUDITIONS for the play “The Diary of Anne Frank,” to be directed by Denise Weber.
Auditions will be held Monday, November 30th and Tuesday, December 1st, 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the Auditorium of the Middle School at Parkside, 2400 Fourth St., Jackson, Michigan.
There may be a call back audition to be determined at a later date.

The Arts and Cultural Alliance of Jackson County presents Ten Things in Two Hours - Uploaded and Updated. This two hour workshop will teach you the basics of getting your profile uploaded onto the www.artsinjackson.com website. You will also learn how to continually update it and add information to the calendar of events.
