Three area artists have been invited to exhibit their work in an exhibit called ECLECTIC MONTAGE.
The work of photographer, Wes Swartz; multimedia creations of Carrie Joers; and paintings by Timothy Galusha, will be shown
The exhibit will take place at Prairie House Studio, off of Robinson Road, in Jackson, Michigan, the weekend of August 20-22.

Dr. Stephen R. Murphy, Jackson Studio of Music Arts (JSMA), has written a delightful story about a bunch of orphans and their house mother. It's funny and moving and contains a clever plot twist that the whole family can enjoy!

Jammin’ in Jackson is a FREE event, which takes place in the heart of Downtown Jackson on Michigan Ave and Jackson St in Bucky Harris Park at 5-8 pm on select Thursdays throughout the summer.

We are located in the ART634 building, 634 N. Mechanic (Down and across the street from Goodwill). Because of road construction, we are currently only accessible off North St. (Bricks are being laid, so Mechanic St. should reopen soon.)
Featuring composers Wagner, Schumann, Chopin, Berlioz, Mendelssohn, and Verdi.

AUDITIONS for 'Cinderella'
Larry Martin will interview Howard Robb, who was a B-24 pilot in the 8th Air Force - the "Mighty Eight" - in England. The program will take place on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 10:00 am to 12 noon at the First United Methodist Church, 275 W. Michigan Ave, Jackson, MI, directly across the street from the Carnegie Library. Parking is available. Refreshments will be provided. All programs are free and open to the public.
