Stainless Steel IV is part of the 2009 - 2010 City of Jackson's public art exhibition sponsored by the City of Jackson, Arts and Cultural Alliance of Jackson County and the Ella Sharp Museum of Art and History.
Dave feels that sculptures should brighten people’s lives. For him, a good sculpture is one that brings a smile to a person’s face when they first look at it. Any sculpture that needs to be explained falls into the same category as a joke that needs to be explained.
