Welded Steel, $7,500
Location: Ella Sharp Museum of Art and History
Reality TV is part of the 2009 - 2010 City of Jackson's public art exhibition sponsored by the City of Jackson, Arts and Cultural Alliance of Jackson County and the Ella Sharp Museum of Art and History.
The sculpture Reality TV was inspired by the artist's frustration with America's obsession of a phenomenom overtaking our culture - reality television.
Reality TV is an interactive sculpture consisting of two welded steel elements, an easy chair and a television. Reality TV invites people to sit and experience true reality television by looking through the television frame out to the true reality of the world around them.
