Journaling Nature Series

07/11/2009 10:00 am
Jackson, MI – Dahlem Education Director, Kimberly May, will guide participants through the Dahlem trails while introducing basic sketching, watercolor, and journaling techniques on Saturdays, July 11th and 18th and August 1st and 15th 2009, 10:00 a.m. at the Dahlem Environmental Education Center. Become intimate with the outdoors, just as John James Audubon did, as you learn basic sketching, watercolor, and journaling techniques on the trails! Join Education Director Kimberly May for each 1.5 hour session, or just one; new nature subjects and landscapes will be introduced with each session. Art materials are provided but feel free to also bring your own. Please wear appropriate outdoor attire. The program will take place inside if inclement weather occurs. Participants 12 years and up are welcome. Space is limited. The program costs $3.00 per person for non-members and is free for members. Advanced registration is required. Please call (517) 782-3453 to reserve a seat or for more information. Dahlem is proud to announce that this and all weekend programs are sponsored by a generous donation from Michigan Automotive Compressor Inc.
