Concerto for Orchestra

First in the season's five-concert series. For an intriguing season opener Béla Bartók’s imaginative and grand masterpiece features the virtuoso qualities of each section of the orchestra. Next, Solomia Soroka will astound you with her performance of the Sibelius "Violin Concerto." The evening concludes with Jose Pablo Moncayo’s lively and spirited "Huapango."
