Art News 7/29/09

 

Before I know it a new year will be upon us, which means it's time to start setting directives for next year.

 

Which is why the board and I recently held a retreat where we reviewed what the Alliance has accomplished in the last year and had conversations on how we can best support and promote the arts in Jackson. 

 

We want to share with you the outcomes of that day as well as get your input on the course we plan to set for 2010.  

 

Please join me on August 20 from 5:30 - 7:30 in the Common Room at ART634 to not only give your feedback regarding the Alliance's plan but to also hear about other community initiatives and to mix and mingle with your fellow artists and arts administrators.  Look for more information regarding this meeting in the coming weeks.
