Announcing: New Member Benefits

Arts and Cultural Alliance of Jackson County announces that the organization will begin operating with new member benefits, and will be known for showing and connecting art, as well as promoting and supporting already existing member events.At the same time, the group released a call for artists to fill the new Consumers Energy Innovation Center downtown. This new initiative prominently features the organization’s focus on connecting and showing. The company is ready for the full launch and the board, which includes Kate Manville-Schwartz as Chair, Lori Gordon as Vice Chair, Amanda Goldsmith as Treasurer, as well as Barry Malek, Kim Hastings, Sheryl Amburgey and Cari Jors as Members at Large, are ready to make these lofty goals a reality."Our focus continues to be on supporting, just in a more defined way by specifying how exactly we do that," Chair Kate Manville-Schwartz said,An Art Lover Membership is for individuals and is $40. Sponsor Memberships which are for Organizations, is $200. Both levels offer members invitations to educational workshops, invitations to networking events, and newsletter spotlight opportunities. ACAJC will continue to offer email campaigns for artists with both membership levels, but now Sponsors will receive two emails per membership year.ACAJC's board enacted the new membership following a survey asking the community what resources were lacking to help grown and support arts and cultural initiatives in Jackson County.Become a member today!
